1. I’m not going to comment on their looks, or their personal lives.  I’m worried about the man’s intelligence, ideals, and his agenda for the country.

   Further to that:  Canada just elected an idiot

   I’m predicting:

   a) A carbon tax
   b) A cap and trade tax
   c) Increased taxes on income
   d) Increased taxes on consumption (the federal portion of the HST will go back up from 5 to 7 percent, possibly even higher.)
   e) A massive upswing in “lost” (stolen) finances funneled into their friends’ pockets via crony capitalism.
   f) A return of the long-gun registry, because it was so amazingly effective in solving crimes the first time round while wasting 2 billion dollars of our money.  (Actually it never solved one crime, but when has that ever stopped them?)
   g) Increased coddling of criminals and protection of their rights.
   h) A big “Screw You” to the victims of crime who also have rights that the state is quite happy to trod, and then piss upon.
   i) Massive increase of invasion by hostile foreign powers’ citizens under the auspices of “refugee” status.
   j) Dependable energy sources energy sources being demonized and run out of business
   k) Incredibly expensive and inefficient energy sources being increased, combined with more wasted citizenry wealth (taxes) via (e)
   l) “Energy poverty” becoming more of a problem in the populace more and more as a result of (j) and (k)
   m) A return and expansion of “Hate speech” laws, regs, and the kangaroo-court tribunals that prosecute people.

   And there will be more, a LOT more.

   My province (Ontario) now has a majority Liberal government and Canada just brought one in at the the federal level.

7. I don’t know how you find this stuff Rich but this one was a howler.  We’re both just getting up off the floor.

   And it’s good as well to see the bmews tiger clawing his way thru the muck of the politics where he is.  Has to be very frustrating.
