The operator of the drone is a peeping tom, and what he was doing is no
different than peering through a window. He should be arrested and fined
and jailed. The father should be congratulated on his marksmanship.
Excellent point grayjohn and I bet the guy being charged will bring that up to the cops.
As I see this it’s ; to be continued,,,,,,
Wonder when Remington will bring the new green box Drone Load to market. #2 tungsten shot, buffered? Kind of like a turkey magnum, only a bit hotter?
Shotguns are fairly low pressure guns, but do they need to really be that low? Can a super magnum round be developed to turn a 65 yard gun into a 125-150 yard gun? Go from 1300fps to 2100fps? With Super Ultra Full choke, or a net of shot, pellets beaded onto a fishnet made of that super strong new fishing line, so that it shoots a 6 foot open spiderweb disc instead of a pattern of loose pellets? What does it take to shoot down a homeowner sized drone? Come to think of it, what does it take to shoot down a somewhat larger military drone?
Civilian aircraft have to stay at 1000 feet altitude I’ve heard, unless taking off or landing. Buzzing somebody’s house is against the law. Drones shouldn’t be any different.
Wonder if the daughter was sunbathing naked. This drone thing could lead to a whole new generation of “farmer with a shotgun and his daughters” jokes.
Of course she had her boobies out, why else would daddy get all “jazzed” about the drone.
BTW, this is a great read over at Sodahead. Enjoy , if you have the time:
