1. Mr Wharton should have been carrying a “buck knife” and used it to slice Mr McCarthy’s both kidneys into bits.

   Then the bad guy couldn’t have sued.

2. It’s getting where as a citizen your best thing is to just stand and watch. 

   Fortunately in Missouri, our laws were changed to where if you come to the aid of another, you can’t be sued.  Castle Doctrine was also changed to prevent civil liabilities against a person who uses deadly force in defending themselves or others.

   Missouri’s a great state.

   I was going with a girl from there 20+ years ago. She lived just outside Kansas City. We’d hop in her car and drive all over the State. Great country.

   Too bad our relationship didn’t work out. I’da loved to have settled there.
