  1. Lurk: you better do it soon ‘cause I’m running out of USAF bases.  LOL

clap  clap Yes, Lurk wins the Golden Compass Trophy today. That is Patrick AFB situated just south of Cape Canaveral between Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach, Florida. Formerly known as Indian River Naval Air Station until the USAF stole it from the Navy pukes in 1948.

  2. I’m with Lurk.  Patrick AFB, Cocoa, FL.

    You’re making me homesick, Skip.

  3. How can you be running out of AF bases as they’ve closed so many over the past 20 years.  If you need any leads, let me know.

  4. What is this, hit Sarge’s duty station week?  I was stationed there from Oct ‘86 to Jun ‘89.  You know, that job thingy has gotten in the way of play time this week.  Keep’em comin’ Skipper, I like seeing where you are going to take us (even if you don’t know).

  5. You’re right, Sarge. I have no idea where I’m going.

I just fly around and land wherever seems like fun stuff.

Hang in there wherever we go too.  LOL

  6. Yup, Canaveral at KSC. to me, all the launch pads give it away. If you can get on the ‘good’ tour of KSC, all those empty rusting launch pads are a sad endnote to the aspirations of the space program.
