  6. First time I ever saw Guam from the air during the daylight. We always seemed to go through there in the wee hours of the morning. Ramstein brought back memories, though.

  7. At the other end of the Island is the Navy/civilian airport. As any salt will tell you NAS Aguin was home to Debbie’s Place the best Go’Dam chow in the solar system. We would fly hours out of our way on 12 hour patrols just to get a Chicken box lunch.

  8. When I first read this on my smart phone, there were no comments.  The Indian Ocean, and
B-52s was the give away.  I lost this one because my new smart phone was not yet synchronized with my E-mail account.  I was robbed!

  9. Fond memories of Guam.

More aloha spirit found on Guam then Hawaii. Broke bread with many of the locals. With the exception of a modern airport and a hotel strip, its pretty run down looking.

Guam becoming more important to the nations defense. Marines relocating from Okinawa, the AF building up Andersens ability to support contingencies.

    Titty bars are worth visiting.
