  1. It is top news story here too - although even idiot JournOlists can’t get it right - wild animals escaped - No they were set free. I guess he thought that either the animals would hunker down in the wooded areas and be ok or kill one of his neighbors/family. Not sure why he was always in trouble - one part of the story said because of the wild animals, another says OH has lax laws concerning wild animals. Unregistered guns - must be near Cleveland - on the west side of OH they aren’t that damn crazy. Get the story straight.

There is a guy on 50 near Chillicothe who has a zebra - amongst his donkeys, ponies and other animals. And there used to be (it was up for sale the last time I went to Tiffin)- an alpaca farm. Heck outside the kids school in KY there was a guy with ostrichs.

I can’t imagine keeping some of those animals - but camel is great - I love it and wish I could get it right now (the local store that carried it, doesn’t have it right now) but I can get rattlesnake for $150.

  2. $150 for rattlesnake? What will you pay for Canada Geese and whitetail deer? I can get those by the trainload!

We don’t have camel at our store. We have some locally grown buffalo, all organic and stuff, that costs more than beef. They tried selling </i>hallal</i> meat for a bit, but it was hideous and nobody bought it. We’ll stick with nice haram steaks, thanks.

  3. All I can think of is the plans for the ultimate barbecue… Am I a bad person?

  4. I’d love the geese and deer. Camel to me is great - it was about $5.50 for a big steak - looked like a cheap beef steak - cooked up like a prime cut. The only one who ate it with me was the ex-son-in-law who’d eaten it in Iraq. Cowards. The commissary & Kroger carry ground bison - it’s off the list right now simply because of the price - we are cutting back bit by bit. I’ve eaten ostrich - Fudruckkers use to carry it - not much difference than chicken or turkey.

I still haven’t seen hallal yet here - but all the burka wearers I’ve seen are over on the east side - so I guess they don’t slum in the lower middle class sections of town.

I’ve never eaten bear or lion - wonder exactly what they are going to do with the dead animals. A shame to just burn them up or some such nonsense.

  5. Sorry Drew. I’m used to this. This farm has had problems for a couple of decades. Not surprised.
