  1. Maybe, just maybe, the majority of black people in America will wake up and see that the NAACP is nothing but a pawn of the Democrat Party.  As long as they can keep them convinced that apart from them (NAACP & DNC) they can do nothing for themselfs they will get what they want...Their Vote.  When it comes to election day, a single welfare mother with 5 kids has as much power as Bill Gates...one vote each.  Those in the NAACP leadership got very wealthy by keeping their own people in economic slavery with the wholehearted support of the Democrat Party.

  2. Ken Lay and Enron would never have gotten where they did were it not for the mares nest of federal and state regulations that control electricity production and distribution. Enron gamed the system, very successfully for a while.
The real criminals here in California, for instance, are the assholes who took away the authority of electric companies to make their own estimates of growth and plan their own production and distribution facilities to meet that demand. If the cost of overseeing our utilities the past 25 years had bought generating and transmission facilities instead, we would now have all the electricity we could use at one third the price.

  3. I was of the understanding that President Bush hasn’t addressed the NAACP in four years, the last time being when he was still a Governor of Texas and running for President.....

  4. You are right, Macker.  I guess what I meant to say in the opening sentence was that Bush should KEEP doing stuff like this.  The article mentions he’s not spoken to them since 2000.
