  1. Right now, Cameron is blaming Brown.  I get that part. I think.  But since Cameron did make that statement above, I’m still not clear on this.
So the treaty passes because they now have the number required. Do I have that right?
So then, because the UK is a member of the EU, and since the treaty is ratified, that means that the citizens here are STUCK with the EU like it or not.
    Do I have that right?

OK here’s the deal. The treaty has to be signed by all governments in order for it to become lawful. However skip back a few years to the Lisbon Constitution. This was the original draft and had to be put to the voters. You recall they let the French vote on it and they said non. They then let the Dutch vote on it they said nee (not the knights who say nee...) anyway you get the picture, the people of Europe didn’t like the smell of it. Not to be dissuaded they repackaged the Constitution and called it a Treaty that way no need to let the plebs vote on it as it just needs the governments of each member state to sign.

In the 2005 British election the Layabout party, the Lieberals and the Conservatives all pledged to give the British people a referendum on the constitution. After winning the election the Layabouts reneged claiming the Treaty was not the same as the Constitution (even though it was damn near identical) and when the Conservatives put it to a vote in parliament the Lieberals sided with the Layabouts and the motion was dismissed. Cameron then pledged to give the people a vote. Unfortunately events have overtaken him. The treaty has now been signed so he can’t offer a referendum on it any more. All he can realistically do is offer a in or out vote. That ain’t going to happen.

Now it is worth mentioning here the Brazilian rent boy abuser and serial liar Lord Fondlesbums of Bhoys Peter Mandleson. He was given a sweetheart deal in Europe by the scumbag Bliar after several disgraceful episodes involving passports for foreigners and mortgage fraud. Subsequently he was made a Lord by comrade Brownstainovich so that he could come back to poison British politics. He is an arch Europhile. The rumour is that he kept comrade Brownstainovich on political life support in order to ensure there was no British election before the Czechs signed the treaty. It is also interesting to note that his best buddy Anthony Lynton Bliar has been mentioned as the first EU president. This we should recall is the same Bliar who have away Britain’s EU rebate for nothing. Sweet FA. The French must still be sniggering behind their hands. Especially when they give the EU president job to some anonymous accountant from Belgium.

  4. With this treaty they dont have a natioanl goobernment anymore. They now have what we in America call local juristiction to police the affairs of their citizens according to brusssels dictats and regs.
I predict this will work as well as the original document signed waaaaay back in 1400 something that we know as the treaty of westphalia.
That worked so well they all went to war continuously almost every day after it was signed.
    AINT Treaties Cool!!!!!!
