Let It Snow!
We had a bit of snow this past week, now we are drowning in rain. Lots and lots of grey, dreary days with lots and lots of rain. It will probably be as dry as the desert this spring/summer as I try to grow anything. And we will have to finance a basement ‘dry’ fix - not to mention a repaving of our drive, as we have a tiny but annoyingly relentless drip into the basement and our drive is pathetic and getting worse.
Of course if we hit the lottery - that is all we will do as we build the house we really want (don’t think huge and ‘mansion’ grand) think actually useful and workable for the next hundred years.
Out in the country - away from the hassles of ‘neighbors’ and city life.
BTW, speaking of hoaxes - my neighbors and We are all doing great. This past few months have been grand of us - good, solid jobs (my hubby & wife to the west - promotions and better pay) no one on our little piece of heaven running down the street in despair or even - gasp - foreclosure. And I’m not seeing a ton of ‘For Sale’ signs around either.
Bet that in 10 days - all of a sudden - The One (tm) just by virture of his ascension to the Throne of Power - brings an end to the devestating economic situation. The only thing that weasel Emmanuel used the ‘crisis’ for was to get an inexperienced, empty suit Thug elected.
On that topic (The One (tm) soiling the WH) heard an interesting question - The White House is a government building and essentially ‘owned’ by We The People (i.e. taxpayers) does that mean our hip, cool, smoker POTUS (to be) will have to step outside to ‘light ‘em, if you got ‘em’(do not forget it is against the law to smoke in Government (Federal)buildings? Of course not, he’s a Dem, rules, laws and real life don’t apply to them. Ever.
We had about 6” of the white stuff up in Upstate NY, just north of Albany. It’s been cold, too. It’ll get a lot colder at the end of this coming week. But, all this snow, when melted, will make a lot of electricity for the various hydros in NY (for a couple of weeks). Since the Obamessiah is so intent on bankrupting the coal industry and seeing utility rates skyrocket, this is a (temporarily) good thing.
