3. Something that has NOT been mentioned anywhere
   is that ‘Critical Mass’ in a ride/protest in
   (where else?)Eugene OR, was held responsible
   for the death of a critically injured teen who
   at the time was in an ambulance which was being
   blocked from using a bridge which was the closest
   egress to the city’s ONLY hospital.
   They (Critical Mass) are not nearly as benign
   as is portrayed. Just think about the pics you’ve
   seen of late in NYC and the resultant gridlock
   caused by CM and some poor schmuck trying
   to get a patient to St. Vincents.
   And I am a bike enthusiast my self.

4. I got these ‘protestors’ figured out at the most
   basic primal level. It is simply adolescent
   rebellion run amok. The participants are in an
   arrested state (sic) of development, ie;

   They detest Bush because personifies with his
   accent and demeanor ‘The Hick.’ The farmboy
   , the lower class they instinctively felt above
   socially during their formative years.

   They resent and rebel against Cheney because
   he personifies ‘The Father Figure.’ Older, fat,
   balding, humorlous and stern and which they
   (perhaps us all) rebel against. Only they never
   grew out of it.

   They adore Edwards because he personifies
   the good-looking kid who always got the girls,
   drove a cool car and was socially ‘connected.’

   They look up to Kerry as he personifies ‘The
   Professor/Ward Cleaver Guy’ who was NEVER
   their father, who was cool ‘cuz he sno boards
   and because he is a bit rebellious in his own
   right. Has patches on his sweater elbows kinda
   guy.

   Now, if my theory is correct, there is NO WAY
   IN HELL that ANYTHING will change their deep-
   seated psychological pre-dispositions. Of course
   this stems from the Dr. Spock/Fantasia/If it
   feels good .. do it 60s. They will go to their
   graves with these misconceptions. I won’t
   hasten the journey, nor do I advocate anyone
   else doing so.

   Take great solace in knowing that EVERY gen-eration WILL to some extent rebel against their
   parents/authority figures.

   The offspring of these bozos see them as the
   ideal to which NOT to aspire. I believe this
   is evidenced by the GenXers on down. I sure as
   shit hope so anyway.

5. I’m sure that PETA will step in to make sure that no police horses are hurt…

   Maybe they’re too busy trying to save the mice that were scheduled to be released in the ‘Maus Bloc’ phase of their ‘operation’.

   Amateurs and hypocrites.  Break put the rubber bullets, please, and aim for the shrill, shrieking mouths.
