1. Conway and Steckler here in LA did an entire list of things on the radio us straight folks want back from the gays.  Two of those things being rainbows and West Hollywood.

6. Lt. Gen.(ret.) Claudia Kennedy, an advisor to the Kerry campaign, referred to the enemy as “peer competitors” during briefings.

   BTW, maybe the (ret.)stands for retarded, not retired, in this case.

   And during my time with a Fortune 100 company, being forced to go to “affirmative action”, “sensitivity”, “diversity”, “harrassment” and “gender issues” days-long indoctrination sessions made my blood boil.

7. I shy away from any religious denomination that refers to “social justice.” in its platform.
   BTW. When I was a nursing assistant I asked a 92 year old resident” what was it like when you were growing up?”.  Later I was informed by a fellow CNA that my question was “ageist.” GRRRR.

8. "African American” for blacks.  (I guess, judging by my last name, that I’m a German-American, but if you ask me what I consider myself, I’ll say I’m white)

   “vertically challenged” for short people.
   “little people” for dwarves or midgets.

9. How about ‘Holding Center’? It is sooooo much friendlier to be taken to the county ‘Holding Center’ rather than the Jail. I dont’ think I’d like the jail but sometimes I do yearn to be held. The trouble is they don’t easilly let you go. Sorta like a jail.

10. Oh, and now that I just thought of it, perhaps the most egregious of all: “entitlement”. It’s not Government assistance any more it’s “entitlements”. Sort of like the deadbeats earned it.
