JayD I would advise you not to read Mary Riddle’s drivel in todays Telegraph for the sake of your health. She is arguing that Brown should admit that immigration has been a good thing for Britain. I came across this in the comments.....
As an ex foster carer I would also say that there is a problem in promoting illegal imigration in this country.I have first hand personell experience of this.
We have fostered 3 asylum seekers that all had the appearance of adunts and the physique of adults.By saying they were 15 or under when entering the country illegally they are placed in the care of social services.
They are then placed with foster carers mainly through foster agencies at a cost of opprox. £700/week.They are found priority placements in our schools as looked after children have priority.They are gived laptops,designer clothes all over and above those of children placed directly through a local authority.Of the two we fostered we have since found out that two had been in a taliban camp and also that they had downloaded images of our forces and american forces being blown up onto our computer.
When we reported our concerns after a gas incident inconfidence to secirity services ; they informed the local authoriity a and did not keep it confidential.
We have been suspended as foster carers for reporting these two .
No one knows how old they really are,no one knows where they are from,no one knows what experiences they have had in the past but social services are placing them with families all over the country and therefore promoting more illegal entry .( because each had a laptop and e-mails home)The police could not prosecute for the images on the computer as they dont know which one placed them on there.
No doubt another mugged Liberal!
I would say this mirrors my own experience when we encountered these deadbeats daily. They would all claim to be “children” despite the fact that they appeared to all intents and purposes to be adults. They knew they would get put into a childrens home and it would be even more difficult to remove them when their claim for asylum was shown to be bullshit. I once had a the foster carer who begged me to deport the Afghan “child” he had in his care after they returned home one day to find him humping family the dog!
It’s going to get to the three S’s where dealing with criminal element is concerned. “Shoot[*], Shovel, and Shut the hell up”

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day/Veterans Day/Armistace Day. 11 am services should be at your local Cenotaphs in your town/city. Be there with some lead time…
