  1. The Bush Plan is an OPTION.

When I die I leave my Social Security Tax Free PSA balance to:

    1.  The Federal Government

    OR

    2.  My wife and children heart

Reforming Social Security with Tax Free Personal Savings Accounts (PSA) is family friendly.

  2. Duh!  This is one of those IQ tests, right?

I still think W should get on TV with a bunch of posters, pie charts and stuff just like our ol’ buddy Ross Perot (I know you guys hate him because he got Clinton elected back in ‘92 and re-elected in ‘96, but the man is one of us).

I think that would do it.

  3. You can’t go back to 1950 and 16 younger tax payers paying for one older retired person.

Soon we will have just 2 younger workers paying for 1 retired person.

Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme that couldn’t work without higher and higher taxes on the younger taxpayer’s earned income.

Plus, Social Security discriminates against certain population groups like Black Males who have shorter lifespans.

  4. Maybe a huge linear chart of the declining birthrate would bring home the realities.  Europe is -2, America is almost at neutral.  If it weren’t for the Mormons, we’d be at zero.

Even scarier, would be a world chart of birthrates..... really frightening.  (Not that that has anything to do with ‘our’ social security) But it’s worth a look for comparison.  Norway or Sweden has something like a -5 birthrate.  They are having serious troubles.......  Wouldn’t hurt for W to point this out in real easy to understand terms.

  5. Cat,

W has assured seniors hundreds of times over that nothing will change for them.  Maybe they are just afraid of change - easy to understand.

Thirty-year-olds and younger are for reform.

The thing is, the liberals, (slap Nancy Pelosi’s face-lift off) come up with numbers and polls and play all these games and use ‘their’ numbers as some erudite interdiction to confuse the issues.  Nothing new there, but it is too ridiculous that so many cannot see through this ruse of the Dems.  I figure most of them agree with W but are fighting out of vengeance.  What a dangerous game to play when we, the people, are the pawns.
