1. fool to resign. I think white can still defeat you.

   Kg3 ...

   You can’t move a pawn, you can’t move the rook. Sure, take the bishop; goodbye horsey! And it’s down to a “knight long” pawn chase.

   At the least, he should’ve held out for a draw.

2. Sorry Drew, his move. I’m up four pawns. I will queen. Plus this was Game/5 minutes. He was out of time. He had 3 seconds to my minute and a half. Time is part of the game.

3. Well, yeah, being out of time changes everything. You didn’t say anything about time.

   I never liked the re-queen rule, and I don’t care how old it is nor how well entrenched. In the midst of all this formality and precision, somebody let a 5 year old plunk in an outrageous gimmee.
