5. Yes, I know Disco is dead. Unfortunately, Rick Dees is still around. I’d like to choke him for giving us Disco Duck. (Oh Damn! Now it’s in my head! Make it stop!)

   Disco was better than hip-hop. There was a lot of other great music being made then: Kansas, Alan Parsons, Styx, Nazareth, ELO, Aerosmith, Peter Frampton, Stevie Wonder, Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, The Eagles, Alice Cooper, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, even KISS had some good stuff. Some dinosaurs were still around: The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks. I don’t consider any of them disco.

   I just checked my vinyl record database: except for Donna Summer and the Bee Gees, I don’t actually own anything I’d call disco. And that’s just their greatest hits. My younger sisters were more into disco.

6. You forgot a couple of my favorites from that era: Rush, AC/DC, Journey.

   No Donna Summer in my collection - I won’t admit to owning the Bee Gees, they must belong to one of my sisters. Most importantly, nothing that would be called disco.

7. To innocent me - she was porn - then I started working around Army soldiers and learned what real porn was. And started smoking and drinking lifer juice.
