  2. Just got an email from my sister - who lives in St. Louis.  She mentioned the heat was absolutely wasting today.  I feel for those poor fire fighters.  :{

  3. Wow, Allan, you sure are up on local happenings...............Last I saw on local 5pm news is that Highway 40 is closed both east & west and the baseball game has been pushed back to a 7:40 start time...............Feel bad for the firefighters in this 90+ heat.........
    Yesterday I had a Cardinal baseball player as a patient in my ER - due to HIPPA regulations I can’t tell who is was.........anyway he got sick while the team was in Cincinnati & didn’t get any better from the ministerings of the Cincinnati team doctor.............Turned out to be a simple case of gastroenteritis & a couple of liters of IV fluids helped him tremendously.............Why am I telling you this? For Phoenix’s sake, this player was a hunk - solid thick muscular arms & legs - you’d be surprised what shows in the famous hospital gowns!!!!!!!!!!  He was also very personable yet he was young enough to be my son - Sheesh - am I getting old!!

  4. Phoenix thanks Dottie and wonders why the only thing she ever nursed were men’s egos.

  6. Skipper-

    Semiconductor products? Most of the gasses used in semiconductor processing are highly toxic - ppb exposure is carcinogenic. I hope you stayed upwind.

    Anyone ever see a semiconductor fab burning get upwind! The good news is that the safety record in the US for these palnts is darn near perfect.
