1. RWN huh. So, does this mean we might gain some new blood in the lovely/shiny/hardly ever used comment boxes???

2. A modern Skyraider with a turbo prop engine would fill a niche in places like Afghanistan where cheap close air support against poorly armed muppets would pay dividends. The Skyraider was a truly great aircraft. I like the Tucano but Brazil is not really on board with the war on terrorism and I would prefer a home grown solution. Besides anything with the name Hawker has to be worth considering. The old Typhoons and Tempests used to annihilate the Germans in WW2 with 20mm cannons and 60lb rockets. Something like that armed with a 20mm chain gun and several hard points would really kick some raghead ass.
