  1. Next they’ll say that because the AR-15 ‘looks like or has the appearance of’ an assault rifle that it causes some irrational mental fear or intimidation.... in order to get them ALL banned.

Personally I’m picking up a pump shotgun before the coronation.... I have the sudden need for a -ahem--hunting--ahem- gun.

  2. I agree, that is most assuredly “faintworthy”! Truth? MSM? WTF?

  3. I just picked up a new book at the library - When Technology Fails - was skeptical as he opened with ‘climate change’ in bold and it is from a ‘green’ press. However, having said that - this huge book is chocked full of good advice (too many chapters on building the eco-friendly house) but indeed full survival info - with resource lists etc. I know it probably isn’t the best - but with his lists - good can be good enough. Too much leaning on the lessons of Katrina and evils of technology - but in the end survival is survival. And too many today are not even able to cope in a power outage much less a real survival disaster.

Knock me over with a feather (quick I’m going to faint) when he presented a list of - get this - necessary firearms for survival. From a 12 guage down to the 9 mm - all about what can be taken down with what gun.

We are three guns short of our list - and my hubby made his point on his Christmas wish list - ‘donations to the buy guns before they are banned fund’ -

I do believe that many, many Americans (gasp, on both sides) are coming to the same conclusion - just for very different reasons. And if we end up at the same pont - isn’t that the real point?!?

Gee, maybe there is hope of America, yet.

  4. Wow, that is impressive.  A truthful description of an assault weapon....in print.

  5. What makes it more impressive is that Ithaca NY is home to both Ithaca College and Cornell University, two institutions that are certainly not friends of gun ownership.
