I said as much in a letter to the editor.
The court should awarded 10 times the parent’s life insurance on their son.
Then these “parents” would have been awarded zero.
Including their legal staff.
Father 50% Guilty and Mother 50% Guilty
Now watch that Nichols specimen sue the Fulton County courthouse....
The only thing *lights* would have done is shine more light on the crime scene....
Personally...I would think this is a case for appeal in that the parents were also found liable…
My other thought on this is that...if this were simply the parents wanting to blame someone for their sons death...why is a money settlement even in the picture..perhaps to salve their own quilt?
My final thought is that this kid was in the wrong place at the wrong time..and the sole person responsible is the person who killed him
gee...just think , if this kid would have been shot on the street next to a city owned parking meter, the city would have been sued
The bottom line is,the parents thought there was money to be had...and the Atty. for the parents pocketed a nice chunk of change, if in fact this case stands on appeal.
What total B.S.( bologna supreme
)
So, let me get this straight...if you have a parking garage near a nightclub...you now have to provide more security??
Atlanta has many un -manned parking lots...you slide 2 dollar bills into a slot that matches your parking slot number, and you park there...if someone got held up on their lot...are they now responsible for not having security?? Whatever happened to making the criminal responsible? Not to mention persoanl responsibility and paying due diligence…
a man and his wife live in a nice neigborhood...they wake up one morning...and there’s a dead guy laying on their front lawn…
evidently he bled to death during the night, because he was walking down the sidewalk, and got shot by a drive by shooter…
the man and his wife with the yard he fell into ...are sued by the family of the dead man for not rendering *medical attention* in a timely manner…
true story ...happened to friends of mine in Atlanta....luckily the case never made it to court....
Interesting math.
Notice the killer is 0% responsible.
If only Robert Blake knew about this!
