Just for the hell of it even if I don’t understand the need.

  1. It’s good to see people do worthwhile things with their lottery winnings. My favorite was the couple who got the replacement knees just so they could dance again. The people with the new caravan.. Travelers in training? :3
I just get tired of the “Win lottery, buy 25 Porsche 929s, hookers and blow, bankruptcy” stories…

  2. I liked the couple who bought the farm. I wonder if that means the same thing in the UK as it does here? LOL

And the other couple with the “top of the range” caravan (camping trailer)? Holy cow, that’s what passes for high end over there? Geex. Entry level, thank you.

  3. couple who got the replacement knees

Right Doc.  I thought good for them. I guess knee surgery works for some ppl but have read nightmare stories about it. I also like the farm and the horses although I’d never be up to that thing these days. We’re kind of in horse country out here and so from time to time I talk to one or two. Gosh they are beautiful.

  4. Sometimes I think you must like Salt on your corn flakes OCM.
As to the ladies mentioned,Women buy boobs and clothes and jewelry to impress other women first and entice men second (or so Ive been told by some honest gals Ive asked on occasion).
I think I can speak for a relative majority of men that we prefer women in the buff and horizontal over anything they are wearing at the time.
    Or maybe its just ME!
OUCH,Wardmama just slapped me with a stick!

  6. The story isn’t really about the boobs, which most of them are, but about “Dancing for joy: Tony and Greta Dodd from Merseyside won £2.5million in July 2007 and splashed out £40,000 on replacements for their arthritic knees so they could enjoy dancing again”.  Why?  Because NHS had apparently written the old folks off and was waiting for them to die and they did a little medical tourism and get to walk (as well as dance) for a bit longer.
