Kill that beautiful shark? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
She-big whites are always “she’s"-was acting like a shark. The lady could have had a scratch, or shiny jewelry on, or might have been wearing a colorful swimsuit-all of which attract sharks. Was she swimming alone? That’s a sure way to get attacked. Was she swimming in water with low visabilty or before it got totally light out? Affirmative to ANY of the above would have put her at a MUCH HIGHER risk for attacks.
There’s no such thing as a bad shark. While they’re more than the “swimming noses” we once thought they were-mental giants they ain’t. They don’t they don’t normally hunt humans. You’re more likely to be stung to death by killer bees than be attacked by a shark. Sharks on the other hand are being severely overfished due to sport and “finning"(that’s when a shark is caught-it’s fins are cut off for soup and the dying shark is thrown back to die a long suffering death) Sharks take many years to reach “sexual maturity” and tend to give birth to small litters. They also grow extremely slow.
An 18ft white is more than “rare”, sadly nowadays, it’s almost unheard of.
The chummers nead to be stopped. In their quest for entertaiment, they’re lurging predatory sharks closer to shore-with the obvious becoming the inevitable.
No. They should leave that shark alone-unless it continues(if it was in the first place) to threaten the shoreline. It was where it belonged. That poor lady knew there was a risk visiting a “world” not her own.
I feel sorry for her family. I also feel sorry for that beautiful creature that may fall victim to mans quest for vengance.
Hey Barb, what’s your take on mosquito’s?
Tacberry, There’s NO comparison btw sharks and skeeters.
Personally I think all skeets need to die horribly.
I think a new category has been created: Just For Barb!
Ha!
I like it, Barb.
