   That succinctly sums up the utter ridiculousness of the situation.

   I think I would have walked out and told them to get their ‘expert’ to stand in front of the cameras and be the dancing monkey in their little show because I had better things to do than be nannied incessantly by a bunch of hand-wringing, regulation worshipping jobsworths[1] that have no real life experience, and never will if things keep going the way they are!
