  1. Dear gun control asswipes,
    when you come for mine send people you won’t miss too much.

    Secondly, the only this more slimey and low than a liberal is a moderate republican.
    just needed to get that off my chest.

  2. Guys, The Hill has both Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid saying that there’s no way that they’re going to introduce legislation for this.  Two reasons come to mind:  1) They know that with the Blue Dogs, they don’t have the votes, and 2) They remember 1994.

  3. I agree with most of that post Drew, but from what I have learned about that little FN 5*7, it was designed for our military pilots if they go down and have to fend off a small patrol of vested military patrons, and yes the idea is to penetrate the vest.  By offering this firearm to public it can help offset costs, but man does it open a window of stormy weather from the anti-gun crowd.  I see this gun as a rare and worthless utility, simply because of the rarity of the round, if you are going to depend on this weapon as your weapon of choice, then you had better stock up big time on ammo, because I don’t think your going to find any in a post era.

  4. This Weapon is offered for sale to the Public in the US, But the AP ammo is Not.
    AP ammo is Restricted in the US, Limited only to Old stocks Until they run out.
    The so called “Cop Killer” Bullets are Not available, But you can still find some
    GI 30-06 AP. The Good Steel Core Chi-Com is No longer Available in the US.

  5. Wait. Are you telling me that the .22 bolt-action long rifle I inherited from my grandfather is now an ‘assault weapon’? I always thought it was for plinking, or at best, good for varmit hunting. I used to shoot a lot of rabbits that would otherwise eaten our garden.

  6. Push 100 miles into Mexico as a buffer zone??

    Nope, we have a more easily defendable southern border… one that we BUILT.

    The Panama Canal.

    Time to start the United States of North America… under OUR terms, not theirs.

  7. TimO...exactly!

    Winfield Scott didn’t pursue his victories in the Mexican War properly. The Mexican states should have U.S states for over 150 years.

    From the Halls of Montezuma
    To the Shores of Tripoli;
    We fight our country’s battles
    In the air, on land and sea;
    First to fight for right and freedom
    And to keep our honor clean;
    We are proud to claim the title
    of United States Marine.

    Our flag’s unfurled to every breeze
    From dawn to setting sun;
    We have fought in ev’ry clime and place
    Where we could take a gun;
    In the snow of far-off Northern lands
    And in sunny tropic scenes;
    You will find us always on the job--
    The United States Marines.

    Here’s health to you and to our Corps
    Which we are proud to serve
    In many a strife we’ve fought for life
    And never lost our nerve;
    If the Army and the Navy
    Ever look on Heaven’s scenes;
    They will find the streets are guarded
    By United States Marines.

  8. When you come for the guns, the ones you will find are the old ones that weren’t accurate, and we wouldn’t mind selling at a flea market anyway.

    The ones you </i>won’t find are the accurate ones we’ll be be shooting at you with later, once we decide that the line’s been irrevocably crossed, and it’s time to water the tree of liberty a whole bunch with the blood of tyrants.

    Those guns?  Yeah, they look scary, but don’t worry, you won’t be scared long.

  9. Oh, and just in case you folks are wondering if a Canadian can hold those sentiments in his heart?  You’re damned right I can.

  10. Why carry a gun?

    Because carrying a whole cop can cause back trouble.

  11. GrumpyOldFart:  *laughs* Thank you, I really needed a chuckle after how my weekend has gone so far (Wife’s computer got infected by the Trojan.Vundo.H malware.  Ugh.  I got it out of there, but it cost me my weekend.)
