Just a bit off center

 

1. This is a variation of the test the Libertarian Party has offered for a couple of decades. I first took it at a ‘pig roast’ the local Libertarian Party sponsored in the late ‘80s. Turned out I was in the Right/slightly Libertarian camp. Not sure I agree with their assumptions though.

   There are times, like with the OWS crowd, I’d treat them no differently than Shay’s Rebellion got treated. Might put me more Authoritarian than normal. (I must admit, I’ve more sympathy for those involved in Shay’s Rebellion. They were mostly Revolutionary War vets who not only hadn’t got paid for their service, but were having their property foreclosed on for non-payment of debts. They had actual grievances.)

   The fact is that test like these are simplistic at best. Depends on the subject/policy.

2. I was extreme Right (one left of the Right wall) and toward the libertarian (one below the mid-line).

   So I’m with Chris on this - a variation meant to pick and chose specific ‘agenda’ issues.
