  1. Please forgive me if this question seems a bit dunderheaded, but I am not quite sure if I get the joke.

Does it mean the wife was so happy that he would say “I’m married” when drunk that she went and did all that nice stuff for him?

I mean it’s nice, really.  Just not uproariously funny. I hope that my wife would do that for me - except I have an allergy to alcohol which prevents me from enjoying it.  Usually, police officers or angry bosses at work get involved when I drink.

You stand-in blogger guys (and gal) are really doing a bang-up job the last few days!

  2. Z, I am with you, I had to scratch my head at the punch line. Steel also makes you chase around all over the internet to get to the punch line. Thanks for the compliment.

  3. I think it’s that he said he was married when drunk thinking she was somebody else when she tried to take off his pants

  7. Good grief boys… the joke IS different, but that’s because the punchline is so unexpected and, well, refreshing.  His wife realized that even drunk, her husband wouldn’t cheat on her.

I think it says something about those who don’t ‘get’ this ‘joke’.

  8. OK, OK I think I get it now.
