2. And the Democrats have the nerve to say Republicans want to turn the clock back. Hypocrite thy name is Democrat. And stupid. And liar.

   I mean - they talk about Akin and his really inappropriate rape remark during the election - which is a very old (pre-Roe v Wade, old school Pro-Life comment) - and Yet, and yet - this goes on the floor of Congress - and not a peep:

   Also in the mid-1990s,[Major] Owens made headlines when he said, on the House floor, that during the trans-Atlantic slave trade some 200 million African slaves bound for America had been thrown overboard by their white captors. This, he explained, had permanently changed the ecology of the Atlantic Ocean and had caused sharks, as a species, to begin following ships (in search of food).

   and this:
   

   “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” the former judge told the House Armed Services Committee hearing. Hank Johnson

   I guess some stupid Congresscritters/candidates are more equal than others.
