Oh Poohsticks, that means I can’t play. But if I had about 3 minutes to Google ...
I am not a trekkie / trekker, but I seem to recall that Mr. Scott was accused of being Jack the Ripper. As to who wrote the episode, my educated guess would be Harlan Ellison. Ellison also wrote for another great sci-fi show, Babylon5, which ALSO had a Jack the Ripper angle.
Agamemnon, you got one out of five. Scotty was accused. However, Ellison didn’t write this one.
Here are the answers for those who are stumped:
1) “Wolf In The Fold”, aired December 22, 1967
2) Robert Bloch (he also wrote Hitchcock’s “Psycho")
3) Scotty
4) The ancient bodiless entity who was the motivating force behind Jack The Ripper and other similar serial killers.
5) John Fiedler - (played the voice of Piglet in hundreds of Pooh episodes). Short, bald, whiney voiced guy - great character actor.
Star Trek episode pshaw! The Babylon 5 episode that had Jack (in the flesh) show up alive and come and torture Delenn and Captain Sheridan was MUCH better… well maybe it wasn’t but I’m assuming it must be since after all B5 was a much better show… ;)
*ducks and hides from the trekkie lynch mob*
Seriously, I used to be a huge Star Trek fan but that was before I got tired of all the libtard lines from libtard writers of trek shows/books. Give me a real sci-fi series (like B5, or anything by David Weber) any day.
RH
RH,
I KNEW there had to more B5 fans on BMEWS than just me.
B5 fans unite !!!
I stopped watching Star Trek for the most part back in 1994, when the producers frakked up a scene where Tuvok (the Vulcan) was bleeding [color=red]red. Vulcans are, of course, supposed to bleed [color=#009900]green due to their copper-based blood.
The B5 episode with Jack was ”Comes The Inquisitor.” And the real twist was, Jack was working for the Vorlons! Give me this...and also the modern Battlestar Galactica...as REAL SCIENCE FICTION!
So Say We All!
Ok, now you guys are making me pull out the B5 DVDs. I LOVE that show!
Ditto on the new Battlestar Galactica.
