  1. Off topic, but I figure Drew will want to comment on this rather large banner headline at Drudge:

New Jersey:  ‘HOMELAND’ BLOCKS ROAD SALT DELIVERY

    .

Time for a Captain Malcolm Reynolds quotation from Firefly:

Simon: So does it happen a lot? Government commandeering your ship, telling you where to go?

Mal: That’s what governments are for… get in a man’s way.

  2. Nice to hear from a fellow Firefly fan.

  3. Indeed.  13 episodes of bliss, and an everlasting rage at the network executives that cancelled such an excellent show.

  4. AGT - typical protectionism in play. And maybe we ought to be glad of it; otherwise every rusted out old hulk on the planet would be hear, clogging up the Inland Waterway. A SMART NJ Governor would have sold the barge a temporary NJ registration ahead of time, making them based out of Port Elizabeth.

Now go try to buy some sugar made in Hawaii or the Caribbean. (aka Sugar Act, another ancient protectionist BOHICA)

Gonna hafta get me them Firefly disks one of these daze.
