  1. Man, I care less than I did at the time. Dusk to Dawn Watergate hearings coverage… I was 12 or 13 and didn’t care who Deep Tonsils was then and care less now.

    Nixon exhonorated himself with his 1980 book The Real War. He slipped up domestically (and I don’t mean Watergate… wage-price controls, EPA, etc), but he was a genius at foreign policy.

    As for a title, how about “Scum of the Earth,” with apologies to Arthur Koestler?
