  1. That really is a joke. Yes? Has to be. Not too many Brits think they have either law or order. Well, maybe the law part but who cares about that? Jeesh. Some govt. minister and some lefty group (forgot the name) think prisons don’t solve anything and terms should be reduced and the bad guys made to see their evil ways by other means. Yeah. Like a rope!

  2. They have been showing it in Canuckistan for a while now. The Crown Prosecutors are the equivalent of DA in the US but the UK version are completely stuffed by all the legislation in favour of the criminals.

  6. Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble - we get it now (Direct TV on BBC America) - they are simply redos of the early (which we watched, agree with the stopped watching when Lennie left) Law & Orders - I remember a number of the plots. What a shame, but I guess they are doing anything to keep the L&O franchise going.

  7. Lyndon. Is BBC America funded the same?  License? Txpyer?
There was some comment in the papers a while back about programing made available overseas that the rate payer here supports while others get it free. ???

  8. BBC America is paid for by advertisement and cable subscriptions. I enjoy it for Top Gear, Doctor Who, BBS News America and a few other shows that you just don’t get over here.
However.. They started playing.. Star Trek, the Next Generation?!?!

    Still a good channel
