It has to be worth a try

  1. I really love to watch the rabid left at work - for years (8 to be specific) they railed on an on re: Walter Reed and the horrible care that evil bushitlerburtonco was providing for (sob here on cue) Veterans horribly damaged in the illegal War - now want every single American on that very care - mandated, financed and regulated by Congress.

Please I’d rather not at all. Ever. Ann hit it right - they created the regulations and ban and now are using the bad situations it has created to push through the ultimate regulated disaster.

It frosts me to no end - the lies (47 million un-insured), the distortions (access not ‘universal’) and the pathetic attempts to pretend that the majority of Americans support this massive takeover of America in a simple power and control grab by the worst Politician to ever have sat in the WH.

Fortunately, it seems that the longer this goes on - the more facts come out and the less likely it is going to be voted in.

It is indeed going to be Obama’s Waterloo and indeed he is failing.

    Power to the People!!!

  3. I don’t think the comparison to military health care is valid. The people that render that care work hard at being good at it and delivering it to all customers evenly and quickly. They don’t always succeed, but they try. The hospital administrations back them up, their individual services Surgeons General back them up, and they work hard to insure that the budgets are up to the task.

In the civilian world most of the care providers care, but it’s all about making money, not quality of care, and now hussein wants to replace those administrators with his own corrupt-o-crats and so forth up the chain of command.

You have to look no further than Canada to see the proposed plan will be a complete failure. Even easier, look at the mouth of 90% of all the brits I’ve ever met. That, my friends, is what socialized health care does.

I will keep my personal opinions on the issue to myself, but suffice it to say that if something is not prohibited, it is allowed. This bill does not prohibit abortion on demand nor offer anything in the way of caps to the number or regularity with which they can be sought and performed. Therefore, they are allowed and funded. Therefore every hospital will have to offer abortion on demand or lose the right to practice and/or get paid.

Catholic health services provide right around 1/3 of all healthcare in the US. The bishops have already conferred on this and have indicated that they will close the hospitals and bolt the doors so they can’t be used if they are backed into this sort of corner. So, now you have an artificially created lack of supply of care, which greatly increases the demand per care giving facility. More facilities will have to be created, new equipment purchased, etc. etc. and say good bye to St. Judes, St. Thomas, the Sister/Daughters of Charity, etc. etc.

To quote from the second Predator movie “It’s not about the money, it’s about the power.”
