5. So far as I can see, most criticism of His Late Holiness seems to center around his refusal to compromise with latter-day political expediency and/or fashion.

   One need only look at denominations that have made such compromises to see that they are mostly languishing, lacking in vitality, and losing membership.

   On the other hand, by my last information, the Catholic Church is by far the fastest-growing Christian church worldwide.
