Israeli Navy rams Gaza-bound aid boat, forcing it to dock in Lebanon. ( They shouldda sunk it! )
Hamas and those who support them lie and distort the truth so frequently that I doubt the testimony of ANY of the people aboard the Dignity. Just a quick example is the statement that:
Israeli gunboats had been shadowing the 20-meter motor yacht for half-an-hour, ‘shining powerful search-lights at us, blinding us,’ Healey said.
How much warning do they want? That’s what Healey and others aboard the Dignity will admit to, how much more was there?
Can’t forget this warning from Britain. The British have learned to take the Israelis very seriously since 1948.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office in London...said: ‘We advised all British nationals on the boat to Gaza that it would be reckless and dangerous at this time.
How much warning did the dummies want?
Then again, you have to consider the firepower and construction of an Israeli gunboat. The ramming seems to be a glancing blow at worst. Just enough to get the Dignity (Sorry, it’s an awful name for a**holes supporting Hamas, but it is the name.) to divert to someplace other that Gaza. Either by ramming at a 90 degree angle and/or simply opening up with any number of weapons, there would have been nothing left of the boat except some small pieces of floating debris and no survivors. The only account of the action would have been the Israeli account.
Now tell me again how the Israelis acted with callous disregard for human life and attacked a defenseless civilian craft without warning?
True, there is a long and honored tradition of blockade runners, going back to the Civil War and beyond. Then again, blockade runners have always known that their activities carried the risk of violent death. Why is this incident different from any other? If you put your ass on the battlefield, you run the risk of getting it shot off. One more time, the Israelis have acted with remarkable restraint, sending the boat to Lebanon without injury to anyone aboard, yet still being criticized for defending themselves. Would anyone else in the world have shown such restraint in dealing with people supporting terrorist attacks on themselves?

The ex-congresswoman and long-time activist for the Palestinians was among a group of individuals turned back after their boat tried to enter Israeli waters in an attempt to land in Gaza to distribute medical supplies.
The people on board the little ship, the Limping Dignity [I think these twat waffles deserve to have their widdle boaty-woaty rechristened don’t you] were just looking for an incident. Reminds me of a TV show I ran across the other night called “Whales Wars” where the greenies go out and throw things at the Japanese whaling ships. Both groups are just begging for some high velocity lead poisoning.
Funny how, even with a CNN crew aboard, they didn’t manage to get anything on film.
Funny too, how this “accidental collision” seems to have impacted at the same spot the ship had all it’s bumpers deployed at. Perhaps it was a boarding attempt that went awry? There is something fishy here.

90 miles off of Gaza can be anywhere from the north end of the Suez Canal almost right up to Israel’s northern border. Assuming they were going straight from Cyprus to Gaza, it was actually a longer trip to get to Tyre Lebanon than it was to turn around and go back to Cyprus.
The next boat will be sunk, and you’ll never hear a radio SOS or see any smoke or wreckage. It will just disappear.
I sure hope they signed up for collision damage coverage when they chartered the boat...har, har.

She certainly wouldn’t fabricate “facts” to suit herself, now would she? A lunatic ex-congresswoman well known for being self righteous and racist is no recommendation for the veracity of anything said by those aboard the Dignity. Why did they even let such a well known lunatic on board? That’s without even trying to figure where the bigotry of Ms. McKinney fits into all this.
Rammed three times? How come she’s the only one saying that? I also have to note the the damage on the boat looks like one good swipe. If there were three hits, where are the other two or are the Israelis so precise in their ramming that they made three hits look like one? Of course if that’s true, then it would appear that rather than ramming, the Israelis tried unsuccessfully to push the yacht onto a different course. Three aggressive shoves might be able to duplicate the damage shown. If that’s true, then the captain of the Dignity had plenty of warning to divert his course after the first one, functionally making him the ramming party.
Dear Israel, next time, please just blow the next one into small pieces, especially if Ms. McKinney is aboard. She’s an embarrassment to all Americans, even her constituates back home.
