Meanwhile - here it’s been (at least, we’ve only been living here 10 years) a continual ‘discussion’ as to who is going to pay for the Brent Spence bridge repair. OH (unions) wants KY to pony up, KY doesn’t want to pay Union confiscatory prices and has proposed tolls - and DC continues to ignore that it is a TWO Interstate bridge (I75 - N/S MI to FL and I71) and so nothing gets done.
Of course the fact that about (it was a couple of years ago, I read the article) 23% of DOT revenue - is actually used for DOT infrastructure/repair - might be part of the problem. As like all things DC - that revenue somehow gets ‘mixed’ into the General Funds (much like SS tax monies) - I bet a Democrat is behind that ‘decision’ much like LBJ taking the key to the SS Funds ‘lock box’ to pay for Vietnam.
I got a wheelbarrow - so we are good for the time coming soon - when our money is worthless but the wheelbarrow needed to transport our Obama dollars to market will get stolen as it is valuable.
Can we deport Obama to Zimbabwe - it appears that he’d be right at home there.
