ISLAM IS TAKING OVER, says Dutch politician

 

Yet another fair warning to us all.  Are we awake yet?

1. The guy is really good. And with big cojones. From Wikipedia, among many other things:
   “Wilders wants to lower taxes, decrease most welfare, raise highway speed limits and cut state regulations by making it mandatory to scrap two legal rules for every new one to be instated.”
   That’s the kind of politician NL and Europe needs. In fact, that’s the kind of politician the US needs.

2. As much as I want them to push back, doesn’t this seem a little bit like a reverse danegeld?  They’ve “paid off” these “raiders” as much as possible by going multi-culti and being sensitive and all that drek. It almost seems like fair payback, about 1000 years late. Weren’t the Nederlanders norsemen too?

3. Drew’s poem reminds me of an old quote:  “Millions for defense.  Not one cent for tribute.”

   The reminder of the similarities between the “reasonable” requests from the Moslems and apartheid rings uncomfortably close.  We just aren’t comfortable with that sort of religious discrimination.  Can you imagine allowing any public facility restricted to one faith or one gender?  I’m going to be waiting to see what happens when the ACLU finally has to confront these things.  Will they actually fight for freedom or will they become apologists for the Islamists?  I’m not betting on freedom.

   At least others in the world are starting to wake up to the threat of the Islamists.  So far, I of them I’m comfortable with, others I’m not, but at least it’s a start in the right direction.  It’s a shame that Ariana Fallaci is dead.  Her independence and powerful voice would be good to have right now.

4. Drew I think we still pay the Danegeld except these days they call it welfare. If the European governments had the balls they would publish the figures showing how much welfare we are paying these deadbeats. They won’t because they fear the repercussions.
   Meanwhile in Denmark the fascists are playing up again. This clip was eerily reminiscent of Nuremburg.

   When I was growing up we could have a laugh at Adolf, the war having been over a long time. I can still recall a Monty Python sketch where Mr “Hilter” is staying at B&B in the West Country. “Historically Taunton is a part of Minehead already” It still makes me chuckle, but these latter day fascists scare me and their numbers are rising inexorably.
