  1. Son had dental appointment at first thing this AM - almost glad you and Drew are not up to par - my mind is off kilter and I’m fighting the urge to go nap. I don’t like having to get up and shower immediately - and still having to walk out in freezing cold. I guess it’s been too damn long since I held outside the home full time employment. I’m beginning to feel like one of these whinny millennials.

  2. To me, a racist is someone who hates people based solely on their race.  Dragging a nigger behind a truck because he looked at a white woman too long is racist.  Not hiring chinese people becuase you hate the way they look is racist.  THAT IS RACISM.

Racism is NOT wearing black face in good fun, dressing as a geisha girl to be different, using language such as the word “nigger”, chinc, or spic.

Now, using these words MIGHT be an indication of a racist person, if he is using these words to refer to a race of ALL people just because he hates all of them for no reason.  Calling an individual black man a nigger because he acted like a complete scumbag is not racist.  After all, the hatred in using the word is directed at a specific individual, and not due to his race, but due to his scumbag actions.  He has been singled out and despised and is properly labelled a word that apply applies due to his scumbag actions.

Racism is in the heart...not the words.  I can spout all kinds of words but none of it makes me a racist.  In fact, I can be a complete racist and never utter a single racist word or do a racist act.  I can be loving of all races, but if I use a word or a “code word” or do something questionable, I could be forever labelled a racist.

If this is the case, then it appears that our current scale on who is a racist and who is not, is not very accurate.  In fact, it seems that because of this inaccurate scale, the actions and words of others is used against them only to attack them, regardless of how they actually feel about other races.  This throwing around the label of racism has gotten so bad, that the accusers had to resort to “code words” just to trap someone that did not think like they did.

IT’S ALL BULLSHIT.  Sadly, careers are destroyed and reputations forever ruined over this nonsense.  What is most sad about this, is the supposed victims and accusers seem to harbor more racism in themselves, yet no one calls them out on this.
