  1. Ain’t evolution magic?

I was watching a hummingbird at the feeder when I realized it was really a Dragonfly.  Looked similar, hovered in the air, flew backwards.

Then it dawned on me that a hummingbird is more closely related to the T-Rex than he is to that Dragonfly.

    Thank you (Real) Science.

  2. And this man fixes toilet for a living?
Yeah, I was totally bored with school. The pace was usually sleep inducing and the teachers were old, very very old.

  3. To quote from this board, “Horry Clap!” First, I get mentioned on the main page and then I read the entry.  I understood about every other word. Maybe. Sorta.  My knowledge of things that move or grow is reduced to; people - 2 legs, dogs - 4 legs, trees - tall green things, bushes - short green things.  All other living things are refered to as “that critter/plant over there. Nooo, the one next to the picnic table.” :  tongue wink

  4. Quick recap for non-scientists:

    If it stinks, it’s Chemistry
If it’s green and slimy, it’s Botany
    If it wiggles, it’s Biology.
If it doesn’t work, it’s Physics.
