1. ‘Do it with someone your own age next time.’

   It would still be rape.

   What a sick, sad joke.

   Are your police unionized? I think that is part of the problem here in America - they, like teachers and federal ‘bone-headed’ bureaucrats are protected from accountability by the union wall.

2. I can’t put my finger on it, but this feels a lot like the Brit police protecting Moslems.  That would be similar to the Moslem “grooming” scandal we’ve been reading about for months.  The persecution of the girl’s father for trying to negotiate with the boy’s father sounds very typical of a Moslem dealing with a non Moslem.

   Don’t look for logic, I’m not claiming any.
