4. Judging by what I read here, I suppose they could deport me. Except I haven’t spoken in a public place before an audience. But otherwise I have never hidden my thoughts if asked.

   Of course, this isn’t my country, I’m a guest in a manner of speaking, and so don’t think I have a god given right to tell my host how he should arrange his life. But gosh I see a fair amount of insanity here and have to wonder how long it’ll last. Even the wife who (obviously) is Brit, doesn’t recognize her own country anymore and feels less a part of it.
   And I don’t think that just comes with age.  Even as an old man I remember my grandad being VERY MUCH AN AMERICAN!  But back then we almost all were.

   Sig.  I had mentioned elsewhere I have a theory re. Liberal which by coincidence one of our BMEWS ppl sent an email on the subject.
   My theory being that Real Liberals are NOT the Dems.  Real honest to gosh liberals are conservatives and mostly Republicians BUT ... like the word gay, liberal has been hijacked by the left.  Being liberal has been besmirched, I think, by the left.
