  1. FOX News reported that a tornado hit Ames, IA Sunday killing an elderly woman.  I called my Mom and she is fine.  Darn BushChaney and that weather machine.

It’s frezzin’ in Detroit.  They have tundra up here mile after mile.

I need to transfer to Tampay Bay under a palm tree. island

I ordered Tornado Shutters for Mom for Christmas.  I hope they are not to heavy for her when she puts them on during the storms.  She will have to use a ladder.

I should call FEMA and see if I can get her any help.

In other Fox News:  Aruba is still missin’ crazy

  2. Ya think? Mo Nature is a Mean Mutha’ and gave us the payback for our recent warm weather. I live in West Central Indiana .. aw fugit, look at Moonbat Hunter Location—to the right.  It was the liveliest excitement last night.  Waves of thunderstorms and tornado warnings and the rain gauge reads 3.3 inches.

Again I had the old luck (knock knock) and didn’t even lose power. But I had the hatch to the storm cellar cleared and ready.

  3. What’s all this talk about global warming and mid-west tomatoes? Hey, isn’t warm good for tomatoes? I mean, they get all funny lookin’ around here when it gets cold! And why do people think tomatoes are so dangerous? Okay, a little heartburn, maybe, but...oh, huh? What? Tornadoes? Oh.

    Never mind.

  4. While at work Tuesday a tornado watch came over our hospital speaker system - we closed all blinds on our treatment room windows and kept an ear to our radio - thank God nothing ever happened..........but the weather appeared threatening all day........I fear tornadoes here in St. Louis ever so much more than the hurricanes I lived through growing up in N.E........

  5. Get out that other chalkboard, OCM, and start logging in the weather in the previous fifty years or so, too. Or the previous hundred or so years. Have you ever heard of “the year with no summer”? Weird weather has been happening forever.

It rained here yesterday and last night. We’re all gonna die. rolleyes

I did watch the radar to see if Oink was going to send that tornado weather over this way. It appears that he handled it himself. Ride ‘em Pecos Bill.

Does anyone remember the tornadoes that tore up Oklahoma City several years ago? (May of 1999) I’m thinking that they had a supercell that was something like a mile wide. Tore ‘em up bad.
