  4. When the “insurgency” started in Iraq, lots of folks around me said we were fighting the Iraqi people themselves.  Then I noticed that the insurgents were targeting the Iraqis trying to enlist in the Iraqi Army and Police Force.  The insurgents bombed them and machine gunned them day after day.  The Iraqis kept lining up, no matter how many were killed by insurgents.  When you’re dealing with an army and police that risked their lives just to enlist, you’ve got to figure that they’re dedicated.
