The answer is simple, friend.  There is absolutely no anti-Bush, anti-American publicity mileage to get out of protecting the Iraqi polling places.  If they had their way, after all, we’d be up to our ears in body bags right now.  You’ll find many of them in Brazil at the moment, furnishing a chattering claque for the Chicken Little quacks who are trying to panick us about so-called “global warming.”
