  1. What would be TOO perfect would be for the company to say, “I’m sorry, we can’t give you records of any 401k, unemployment or any other kind of benefits. You see, someone erased all our data so now we have no records that you ever worked for us at all.”

  2. Shouldn’t have gone off her meds.

  3. I like Grumpy’s solution. She shouldn’t have assumed anything. This is what happens when women are left to shift for themselves. They obviously need a man to guide them. Like Hillary and Bill and Monica...oops.

O.K. That may be a bad analogy… Yikes! Anal was in that sentence...gotta parse words like in the ‘90’s!

Got it. Like my old dance teacher, Julius Kaiser, used to tell my dance partner (now my wife)… “young lady, you are not equipped to think.”

You can imagine where I sleep when I remind her of that advice…

  4. I’ve known too many truly brilliant women to let that one slide. And besides, there’s another point I think is more accurate, in that it jives with what everyone has observed everywhere on the globe at all times in history.

It should read, “Young lady, you are too well equipped to ensure that any and all men around you STOP thinking.” That sounds frivolous, but think about it. For every good looking woman involved in a decision making process, many, MANY men temporarily lose the ability to think rationally.

Although to be fair, most women themselves admit to being utterly at the mercy of their hormone balance a dozen or so times every year. Granted, men are at the mercy of theirs *all the time*, but that’s the point. It becomes a norm all its own, you learn to operate within it, rather than having to continually readjust.
