2. Drew, Gave up on football a long time ago. You aren’t old enough to remember how fast the game once was. I mean the 50s when I was very young and impatient. It was only later with more and more time outs as an excuse for more commercials etc.
   I recall watching games in driving snow and don’t remember the game being slow for all that.

   Too snarky? Maybe so. But I realized later that I’ve been turned into a distrustful cynic. Business lies to us constantly, the government lies to us constantly, the fix is in on damn near everything and lately people don’t even try to hide it. “What difference does it make?” So it’s hard for me to accept such a game as pure chance.

5. I actually watched the entire game (not the blackout portion) - daughter wanted to see the commercials. Since this was Kaepernick’s first full season as QB did anyone expect him to overcome the Ravens? Good game despite the 49ers 1st half play. The puppy bowl sucked since they added so much stupidity. I don’t need the freak show of Animal Planet breaking in to cheer on the puppies.

   I agree on the lie - 6 corporations own all the news, tv, radio media in America - 6 - and I can remember when some liberal loon was squawking when it was ‘just’ 25 - notice much squawking today? No because I bet those 6 corps (GE, News Corp, D, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS) are all liberal.[from business insider article]

   We are doomed. And way too many people seem to be looking the other way.

6. I miss Paul Harvey - other than Limbaugh, he was a reason to listen to AM radio.

   As for football, I’ve given up. Didn’t watch the game, didn’t watch the commercials, not one damn was given. Color me an old man, I no longer care.

7. Think of how lucky that kid is.  Can you imagine him telling all his other geek buddies that he was going to be in a commercial during the superbowl AND makeout with a totally hot chick.  His buddies must have laughed at him, but he got the LAST LAUGH. 

   That kid will have something to talk about the rest of his life.  I hope he got her phone number.
