I’m with you they Allan. That is why i try to reframe from using those kinds of cards, and giving my SS # to just anybody. The other things that scare me are GPS in cars and cell phone. And just because I am paranoid, doesn’t mean something isn’t watching me. With the advent of the electronic age, there has been way too much intrusion into the private lives of people.
Mr Minority
My Stop n Shop card is in my dog’s name.
If anyone calls I say he’s tied up at the moment.
I have a guinea pig getting mail too.
If they are tracking my buying trends with my Vons card, all they will be able to conclude is, “Geeezzuz, this guy smokes a lot of cigarettes and drinks a lot of coffee!”
You know what’s a lot of fun with those? Grab a relative’s card (say your grandmother’s) and buy things like condoms, Johnnie Walker, cigarettes, etc. (assuming she doesn’t! hehehe)
I agree,
I do not use the super saver cards offered by the chains.
I usually pay cash for all of my purchases,
from clothes to groceries, gas, ammo, and cold beer.
as far as the email ,
i also have several garbage email accounts for the asking.
I only give out my Real Personal Info to people or sites That I Trust.
This is one of those chosen, Very Few Sites.
I Raise My Cold Bud Light to salute you, Allan & Vilmar.

You got to hire someone full time to keep up with these Bills. Poppin’ out of the woodwork!

Yes I agree, I don’t want anybody to be able to type in:
select * from all_those_damn_criminals
where name like(’&#xst;an%’)
and come up with my records.
That is just a little too easy.
