3. I never did buy the Forrestal theory. That he ever got there in the first place, or that he was magically never even considered for wrongdoing, sure seems amazing until you remember his daddy was a big old admiral. I’ve always read his 1967 testimony “I thought I’d killed you” as an admission he fired the Zuni, which could be mounted on anything that flew.
