Wasn’t talking just of your post; was talking about the original post by peiper. But it certainly doesn’t help the cause of liberty and conservatism (which go hand in hand, in my book) to go using hateful racial slurs.
C’mon, guys.... We’re better than this. We are the ones who are color blind, and seek out the philosophically like-minded to be our peers regardless of their race. The leftists are the ones who make every single little thing in life about race - their idea of diversity is not having an office with people all over the political spectrum, but an office of only leftists whose appearance is all over the color spectrum.
There are ways of making our points that PC ‘philosophy’ is a pathetic joke which is only strengthening the do-nothings of society without resorting to racial slurs and saying crap like “De blacks doin what day always do when day got nottin to do. Riot. Cause vandalism. Burn cars. Doesn’t matter what country they’re in it seems. Any one will do. Jus ax dem.”
When black conservatives read this, do you think they will feel 1) excluded, or 2) warm, fuzzy, happy come-on-in-and-sit-at-the-table inclusiveness? Why push away people who are philosophically on our side by resorting to junior high name calling?
If I want to read crap like this, I’m sure StormFront and VDARE are still up and I can go there.

Then you’re not paying attention. There aren’t many blacks who are conservative - imagine everyone in your family and community disliking you because of it? Imagine the strength of character it takes growing up conservative when you are called traitor for it? Kenneth Gladney was beaten because he was selling a Gasden flag at a Tea Party protest, for example..... Michael Steele has had oreo cookies thrown at him during speeches… Then was photoshopped in blackface......

baboy, some of your points are very well taken. Yeah. I can see where anyone with a history of being at the bad end of unwarranted racial abuse will be very sensitive on these issues. Lord knows there are enough white gremlins doing the worst sort of crimes, and doing em every day. Most unfortunately, there just hasn’t been a word in our language to aptly describe them. Sure, white trash but how hard hitting is that? But using the ‘N’ word to describe the black criminal just seems to fit. It expresses exactly what ppl feel about that INDIVIDUAL. But not necessarily what they feel for the race as a whole. The word doesn’t even have a nice sound. But it sure is descriptive.
I don’t think anyone gets up in the morning, white of black and suddenly decides Oh, today looks like a good day to become a racist. It’s born of experience living together and seeing the worst of each other. It has to be said that that much of the bad attitude ppl have is brought on by themselves. Sadly, the whole group gets tarred with the same brush.
But here in this case in Italy, I see the same attitude and the same behavior I saw living in LA. Any excuse to burn the city, and it was done. Then you get the Jessee Jacksons and that other guy whose name slips by me at the moment. But you know surely what I mean. You are absolutely right about turning off ppl who share conservative views. But then again, my use of the way too many blacks speak (and then wonder why they can’t get jobs)was my way of highlighting just one of the problems. When I was growing up, blacks didn’t talk like that? Ax instead of ask? What happened? There are some very uncomfortable truths at issue because we are different. As for warm and fuzzy feelings, well. That does work both ways. No? Their trial was pretty swift as was the arrest and it didn’t drag out. They were convicted. (They deserved hanging or being dragged themselves) However, it is not the white perception that the same is played out where blacks commit a crime and suddenly have every civil rights group banging on about racist police and racist society.My comments were I felt, accurate based on MY experiences. Finally, Someone wrote me something not long ago that I hadn’t heard before and it has now become gospel with me. And that is.
People don’t choose their color at birth.(and they aren’t born niggers) But they do choose to become niggers later on. And that is true of the many. Just as it’s true that the many criminals among whites choose to be what they are. But they weren’t born so.It sounds like spin to me, peiper. I wouldn’t have written in here if I didn’t think this was a blog worth my daily read, but as I said, I recommended this to a black conservative friend of mine who HATES Obama with a passion that I find ... almost disturbing. So a few days after that recommendation, to come here and see the absolute WORST in racial stereotyping being done, complete with juvenile Pickaninny crap, including calling the jackass in the picture a “thick lipped buck” - well, it’s embarrassing. I was wondering if the fried chicken and watermelon jokes were next. I don’t know how to handle the situation with my friend now, to whom my loyalty is far more important than keeping a blog in my daily read rotation. Do I just ignore it and say nothing? No, because what if he reads the blog, sees that post, and that colors (no pun intended! Ha!) his opinion not only of this blog and fellow conservatives, but me for recommending it? You think he’ll just think, “Well, maybe I’ll read more, maybe this was a fluke post,” which I think it is, but really, would he do that? Or do I call him up and say, “Hey, forget about BMEWS, as it turns out they think it’s fun to rip on non-whites and I’m not cool with that.”
Really, I’d like some guidance here on this.

No, no watermelon jokes and that remark shows I have been badly mis-understood in what I was trying so hard to relay. One of the things I have tried to do and not just with this topic, is not fall into the trap of acting like the liberal left who I am always critical of. Sometimes thru frustrated impotent political anger, I fail.
The remark re. thick lipped buck was meant as disrespect and yes hatred at that ONE individual who (look at the photo again) towered over that small woman. Had he shown that aggressiveness toward an equally built male of any color, I very much doubt I’d have used that term. I still might not feel any warmth for him or his friends nearby, because I do not happen to believe that burning cars, running a car with a lady and her baby on-board into a wall, smashing store windows and damaging the property of those who have nothing at all to do with the problem that started it all, I just do not believe those actions have a place in a civilized society. But then, they are hardly civilized. Are they?
I do happen to agree that often times and especially when angered, we all say things that play right into the hands of the left. But we should also be realistic. The unfortunate vast majority of the black population ( and why black when so many are not?) do not fall into the same group as your conservative black friends. And as you yourself pointed out earlier, many blacks who are critical of the ax for ask syndrome are themselves attacked as Uncle Toms.
Are you old enough to recall the Watts riots? EVERYTHING is blamed on “racism.” Not saying it isn’t there. It is. It always will be. Well, at one time one of my various jobs, (had two at once at one time) involved venturing into Watts. It has always been described as a ‘ghetto’ with all the word implies. Well, lots of Watts were NOT ghetto in spite of the media calling it such. There were single family houses with tended lawns in the better part. The part where ppl cared.
I think my whole point anyway was, that this one group seemed to have an infinity for group riot and vandalism almost always based on race complaints or perhaps one of their number ill treated and so their answer is? Riot. And hell. Why not? What it achieves is laudable. Numerous streets and hwys and schools named after a civil rights leader. AND, a national holiday so mail is help up an extra day and banks are closed but the stores make out like bandits. And who celebrates the glorious day?

It seems we are missing a word aren’t we? People who are ignorant morons, of all races, like to throw the N-bomb around.
