I’m puzzled…

  1. A couple of things:
It sounds like that they left out a few facts as to where they are going in Michigan, when I first read it I caught the Cinci Toledo connection and figured that they were just doing the I-75 shuffle to Detroit or even hit southern and southwest portions of Michigan to canvass.

The other thing is that supposedly Romney is polling fairly well in Ohio so perhaps that feel they need more help in the short term with Michigan which may not have as large a group.

This is pretty standard here in Ohio.

  2. Okay, now *I’m* puzzled.

You’re actually expecting something done by a politician’s supporters during an election campaign to MAKE SENSE? Really?!?

  3. Touché GOF.

Guess I shouldn’t do that, huh?

  4. Yes, for some reason, perhaps the truth, Republicans are not focusing on OH and going after ‘other’ states (and to hear Sen Brown and Gov Strickland tell it - you’d think the whole state was dem all the way). My daughter was contacted by Ohio College Republicans to go to Iowa (for Free) but she could not find anyone in her Heidelberg College Republicans wanting to take the last days of their winter vacation to speed drive to Iowa and back. . .

It annoys me to no end - as there are no public rallies etc here in my area. Everything seems to be a pay (through the nose) private event.

Since Michigan is struggling so badly - maybe the Republicans will get a foot hold - but I doubt it - even as disgusted as my m-i-l is she still talks a good fiberal talk.

  5. Guess you’re a fellow Buckeye wardmama.

Didn’t vote for either of those piles of dog squeeze. Why would anyone want a liberal psychologist for governor? That’s what we got. He’ll make sure we all feel everyone’s pain. Sherrod Brown? Never heard of him before, so far his only claim to infamy is signing the now famous Harry Reid letter against Rush Limbaugh. And voting straight party line to oppose the war effort.

Our other senator is not much better. ‘Crybaby’ Voinovich sucked as Governor and is not much better as a senator. Can’t really tell him apart from a Democrat. Our ex-senator DeWine (Whine!) lost because he was one of the ‘gang of seven’ Republicans that held up Bush’s court nominees.

When will the Republicans wake up? I don’t care about ‘bi-partisanship’. I want to win! That means the other side has to lose. Very simple. Republicans lose every time they try to be Democrat-lite.

/a friend of mine, a LTC in the Army, just told me yesterday he’d vote for me. Don’t know what he’d vote for me for, but we were discussing the Presidential race and the Dayton City Commission. Should I toss my hat in? (I do wear one now. My grandfather’s fedora. Mom gave it to me last year. It fit. I’ll post a pic of me wearing it later.)
