2. To be fair, I can understand and might even condone ripping down Cecil Rhodes’s statue. I’ve been tormented about the man for a bit, but even at the time he was at best a sort holier-than-though ego tripper. And South Africans have big reasons to resent him. Especially since he helped clamp down on the region’s first race blind electoral laws in history.

   If he were alive today the thing keeping him from being a Nanny Stater Leftist would probably be his love of empire and foreign expansion.

   But the fact remains that nothing should be done illegally. And that’s where thugs like Malema (how convenient it is that it features “Mal”, as in “Bad").
