Idiot + crime + cell phone camera = Jail

1. Drew I hardly know where to start with this one. You can read the news here every day and come across examples of such mindless stupidity. If this half wit had died of the injuries sustained she would have been a great candidate for a posthumous Darwin award.

   There is something very wrong with modern day Britain. An article in today’s Telegraph sums up some of it.

   I truly despair for the long term future of England. I no longer consider it the UK or “Great” Britain. The Scots want to go their own way, and we would save a lot of money if they did. Wales is another drain on the English tax payer which we could do without. Ultimately we are heading toward becoming some piss pot “region” of a EU socialist superstate. The decline seems to have accelerated under ZaNuLabour. They have presided over the largest uncontrolled immigration experiment in our history and we are know reaping the rewards! They want to remain in power for ever, and what better way than by allowing hordes of people who will tap into welfare and become clients of the State.

   Education is in terminal decline. For example the recent poll where a disturbing percentage of “British” schoolchildren did not know who Winston Churchill was. Though to be fair given the numbers of African, Middle East and East European children in our schools maybe it is not such a surprise? Crime despite what the government tells us is on the up. They point out specific examples like the decline in motor vehicle crime, which admittedly is down, without pointing out the fact that the reason for this is most new vehicles have immobilizers so they can’t be stolen. Meanwhile violent assaults are on the increase and prison sentences are being reduced because there is a lack of space. The liberals just don’t get it. If there is a lack of space build more prisons. They just can’t admit their bogus ideas on reform and welfare are just that bogus.

   You would hope the people would rise up and kick this shower of faecal matter into touch, but the two main parties Liberal and Conservative have little to distinguish themselves from ZaNuLabour. The Conservatives would stick to the ridiculous spending plans of the present government.

   The last time we had a Labour government in power for a number of years was in the seventies and they, together with the unions wrecked the British economy. The government had to go cap in hand to the IMF for a bail out loan. It came to a head in 1979 when the electorate had finally had enough of Labour and kicked them out and voted in Margaret Thatcher. Unfortunately there is no one of Maggie’s stature in the Conservative party now. Even when she was at the top of her game she had to kow tow to the Liberals who wanted closer union with the EU and now we have a hopeless, rudderless government and a weak opposition. It doesn’t bode well. I just hope my house sale goes through sooner rather than later so I can get out while the getting is good!
